From our friends at 420Intel.com and Denver7ABC we came across the craziest cannabis story ever. Turns out in Colorado there is an International Church of Cannabis that has become a popular place for people to worship. And guess what sacrament the church gives out? Cannabis!  But that’s not the controversy. Turns out people are distraught about the new sculpture at the church. You can see it is a little weird.  The City of Denver is claiming the sculpture poses hazard. But to the church members the sculpture is a symbol of religious freedom. “We named our religion ‘Elevationism’ because we believe that people should try and elevate themselves to a better version of self,”  said Steve Burke who is a founder of the church. “Art is art. There are no parameters on the size of art this is not just art to us. It’s a religious symbol, and here to establish our right to have religious liberty and freedom,” Steve said. “This is a holy sculpture, according to Elevationists. They view this as a symbol of religious freedom and it should stay.”  Click HERE to read the story.
