Some people believe that the world is so messed up right now that the only thing that can bring us together is music. That is certainly what the Playing for Change Foundation has been doing for many years. Getting musicians from around the world to perform the same song in their countries with a producer putting it all together at the end. The Playing for Change project is a multimedia music project, featuring musicians and singers from across the globe, co-founded in 2002 by Mark Johnson and Whitney Kroenke. Playing For Change also created in 2007 a separate non-profit organization called the Playing For Change Foundation, which builds music and art schools for children around the world.
