Evidence is accumulating that In New York State the laboratories tasked with testing cannabis to make sure it’s safe are failing at their mission. Every day there’s more evidence that weed contaminated with pesticides and other harmful chemicals is being sold.
“An analysis of testing certificates from New York and lab tests commissioned by The New York Times suggest that some products sold in licensed dispensaries that are labeled safe could actually contain harmful levels of pesticides, among other unsafe additives, or be contaminated by a toxic fungus,” Southall and Uberoy tell us. This is important reading for cannabis consumers and and everyone in the industry. You can read the rest of the NYT article HERE.
