One of the coolest things about cannabis is the way certain varieties or species (called “strains”) look. Some varieties produce flowers so gorgeous and colorful they look like the CGI plants on Pandora from the movie “Avatar.”
Even people that enjoy and use cannabis regularly rarely see this elusive and beautiful ‘electric purple’ offering from Mother Earth.
Experts will tell you that the way a specific strain of cannabis looks is not a measure of its quality. Some of the best herb in the world is honestly just not “much to look at.”
But high-end chefs say presentation is important because “we eat with our eyes” as well as our mouths and if you’ve ever seen a glistening purple cola (called “buds” in common vernacular) you know what they’re talking about.
