It’s a beauty I still think about today. This big mama was planted at our community garden plot in town the year Virginia legalized home grow. It was a bit bold I have to admit, there were zero security measures taken. Just a blind trust of those around us. She was hitting almost 15 feet tall in late August when someone came through and chopped her down at least a month before harvest. I never found out who did it and I’ll always wonder what those flowers would have looked and smelled like. But life goes on and there are many more seeds to plant!
