Worried about your aging brain and getting dementia? Well here’s some exciting news. We learned a while back that people who eat foods rich in flavonoids like berries, tea, red wine and dark chocolate, can lower their risk of dementia by 28%. The study, led by researchers at the Queen’s University Belfast and published in the journal JAMA Network Open, said that increasing the intake of flavonoid-rich foods and drinks could help reduce the risk of dementia.

This is great news for all you cannabis lovers. Turns out “flavonoids” make up around 10% of the known compounds in cannabis and there’s evidence that people who are into cannabis may have a lower chance of cognitive decline, memory loss and confusion.
