“Don’t tell me this town ain’t got no heart, you just gotta poke around.” And poke around we did last weekend at The Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary celebration in San Francisco. Jane and I attended two of the three shows, and as a long-time Deadhead, I truly enjoyed the experience. Dead & Company + Golden Gate Park was an outstanding combination.
They even had legal cannabis sales over in the Grass Lands area, a first for the Dead. It was especially unique since every purchase from the on-site dispensary included three seeds from Humboldt Seed Co. for one penny. I was able to visit the HSC booth, and it was wonderful to see so many people excited about having their own phenohunts. And don’t forget to check out my YouTube channel. Click HERE. And as always, we love your feedback.
Speaking of history, last week also marked the anniversary of a more nefarious kind. I’m talking about the 88th anniversary of the Marihuana Tax Act, which kickstarted the prohibition of cannabis in the United States. And while the majority of states have enacted some type of reform, the plant remains a Schedule I substance on the federal level. NORML marked this occasion with an informative blog, which you can read here. Be sure to consider supporting NORML or other non-profits like Americans for Safe Access and Last Prisoner Project.
My strong suit has always been the written word, but nowadays, more people are getting their information from video. With that in mind, I recently revamped my YouTube channel. It’s now arranged so you can zoom into the most popular Ask Ed tips and my DIY videos. I encourage you all to check it out.
