An ongoing adult-use cannabis study in Switzerland named Weed-Care , has published their findings. Participants in the study reported an improvement in their mental health  and a decrease in various addiction problems. The findings were reported  by 420 Intel   – a website that reports cannabis news from around the world.
Not only did the results show that participants in the “Weed-Care” study experienced lower instances of depression, anxiety, and addictive behaviors, it also showed there was no increase in the amount of cannabis participants consumed, or the number of days it was consumed.  The trial is the first of its kind in Switzerland and has been followed by similar trials in other regions of the country, such as the Züri Can pilot in Zurich. The study began in September 2022 after Parliament voted in a law allowing cannabis pilots to be launched for the purpose of research. The study has been extended to run until September 2027.
