A new study has come out confirming that we humans, when we hear the right music, have an ingrained instinct to get up and dance. The study, published by www.Neurosciencenews.com, found that the urge to move to music—known as the “groove”—is a distinct physiological response, separate from just sitting and enjoying the tune. Researchers examined individuals with “musical anhedonia“, who feel little or no pleasure from music but still had a strong urge to move when the music was lively and had a good beat. You can read the report HERE. This is why YourCanna-club decided to host a “Dance Party” every Friday with al the great ones like “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” (Whitney Houston), The Gap Band belting out “Party Train“, and our our favorite –  Geri Halliwell doing her rendition of “It’s Raining Men.”  And check the YouTube video below – “Brand New Dance” on  Eminem’s album “The Death of Slim Shady.” If this doesn’t get you off the couch probably nothing will.
