We were looking for some good music to add to the YourCanna-Club PuffPuffPassTunes playlist on our website.  Saunders Ferry Lane has nothing to do with weed but we were so taken with this song we wanted to share it.  Sammi Smith was an American country music singer and songwriter. She is best known for her 1971 crossover hit “Help Me Make It Through the Night”, written by Kris Kristofferson. She became one of the few women in the outlaw country movement during the 1970s.  Sammi died in 2005 after a long battle with emphysema. She was 62 years old. Today we bring you her song “Saunders Ferry Lane.” We hope you find it as beautiful as we do. We’ve got everybody from Amy Winehouse, to Rick James, to Bob Marley, and even our favorite AfroMan. And check out these music videos from the 90’s-MTV era. Some of them are wildly entertaining like Snoop Dogg’s rendition of Gin & Juice when he was a teenager.
